Advert change...

Ok after some discusion I have reworded the advert. I'm not convinced its perfect still - not quite quite hitting the right note. It hasn't got the right tone - but it will get there, inspiration will hit me soon enough!

Everything is very quiet - I will spend the next couple of days considering other ways of giving it a little push!

Some interest already?

Got home after a few beers last night - and found a couple of posts! Already! Excellent stuff, I didn't expect interest quite so soon. SWF - of course i'm interested in talking to you - that's what I'm here for afterall! However could you respond to the advert? We can talk more then... Of course all details will remain absolutely confidential ;)

I've been thinking about how i'm going to get the site advertised more. I'm thinking that mostly it will be by word of mouth - but it does need a few initial 'pushes'. So I have had some cards printed! I'll start distributing when I'm out and about... If you see one let me know!

Slow beginings

Well onemans advert has been running for a couple of days now. It's a slow start - to be honest I didn't think it would be any different - no one knows about it and they would have to come across it very randomly! So while it is quiet I might talk a little about my motivations for starting this site up.

Well... I have reached an age where I'm looking for a someone special to share my life with. There are of course a number of straight forward ways to do that, but I wanted something a little different... I'm frankly bored of convention, I want excitement! Fun! Something new!

That's why I decided to run with this idea... It was born the usual way - a few drinks with a friend. We were laughing at the local papers classified cupid ads and it struck me that an advert, all on its own, on a dedicated website spread through word of mouth might be the stroke of genius I'd been waiting for... To the best of my knowledge this hasn't been done before and I really really don't know what to expect as a result. What I'm hoping for - well that's another story...

I'm hoping that girls, of all ages, countries, creeds and looks will see it for what it is and respond to the ad! I'm hoping that people will read and interact with the blog! You never know I could make some new cyber friends! BUT most of all I'm hoping that this man, oneman, fulfils his quest to find the girl of his dreams...

The beginning

Welcome to onemans blog! What's it about? Its about this. The classified advert that I've posted with the hope that I can find the girl of my dreams!
The idea I hope is that some lovely femmes will respond to my advert and one of them will 'be the one'!
I intend to use this blog not to embarass the girls that WILL reply but just to chart the success or otherwise of onemans advert...
