Evening world. Well I wrote to the man from New York - the one who found the girl of his dreams. Not a peep out of him. But hey maybe that's a good thing - he might be too busy to check his emails...

I'm gonna have to cut this short... Sorry I know you're desperate to know how my last few days have been but I'm off down the pub with some mates - so come back another time, we'll talk then!

A little more chilled

Good evening! I'm a little more chilled now that the kitchen is sorted! I might make more sense today - well lets hope!

So I went to go and see how I'm doing in the Google search rankings and the answer to that is.... Not very well!!! But I did discover that this idea isn't completely original! A guy found his one true love in New York through this site: www.nygirlofmydreams.com - the difference being that he'd already seen the girl of his dreams and knew what country she was in! Makes it easier dude... I'm going to email him though see if he has any tips for a "girl of my dreams" novice.

So there we go... If a guy in New York can find the girl of his dreams then so can I!

I'm getting flooded!

No literally I am. Such is my dedication to this quest that even as my house sinks I'm still writing to you girls. Well in reality I have a leaky tap and I'm waiting for a plumber. I have learnt that although I'm VERY GOOD WITH MY HANDS plumbing is the one thing that's better left to men of the trade.

So its the weekend. I'm not famous yet (or rather my blog isn't famous yet) but I can live with that - small things (like acorns) are what big things grow from (like oak trees). I'm sure there is a saying in there somewhere... I have a goddaughter and she turns three soon so I'm off visiting armed with presents. What are you up to? Anything that I should know about???

Anyways - I sound to me like I sound mildly hysterical to you, dear reader. So I think its best I go... I'll be back soon assuming I'm all plumbed back in of course...

So now I know...

What I didn't realise was that if you change the settings then Blogger will automatically get Google to search your site and inform the web blog people that you're site has a new post!

So now all that's activated there'll be fame tomorrow I guess!

Another look at the advert

I've just taken another look at the advert (not having seen it for a while) and I think it's looking quite good. Very happy with it until the part about having the nerve and the curves. It's a little lame at that point. So I'm going to have to change it - again...

I'm going to go a little more direct and a little less cheese... If I like how it reads in a few more weeks - then that will be my ad! CAST in stone! (I knew that these things might be a little changeable to start with - I did think that I could rely on you people out there to help me.... It's ok don't feel guilty I realise this is one advert I have to do on my own)

Ah its just a Wednesday.

I was talking to a girl earlier today who is going out on a date with someone who poked her randomly on facebook. She doesn't know him, her friends don't know him, 'but he sounds alright on the phone'... Fantastic - good luck to her!

So have I gone randomly poking loads of women on facebook? It's an idea! But no - to be honest I hardly ever use the thing. I do have an account but its just another thing that needs to be managed isn't it. I really can't be that bothered - I am a modern man really just not quite seeing the point of social networking just yet... Is it so that your friends can get in touch with you and see what you're up to? I think most of them know how to get in touch with me if they need! So sorry facebook - if you could help me in my quest to find 'that girl' without having to poke everyone in the world I'd be there and not here!

Well I feel that things are begining to move slowly now! The site is slowly getting out there but there's so much to do! Are the tags right, does it look nice, is the advert right?!?
